Flying Geese come together to Nest. Well, at least that’s what this quilt says to me! We’ll learn to make flying geese doing the stitch and flip method. Where will your geese nest?

Fabric Requirements:

 Blocks – 16 Fat Eighths
 White fabric – 2 1/4 yards
 Star Centers – 1 Fat Quarter
 Star Points – 3/8 yard
 Sashing – 7/8 yard
 Binding – 5/8 yard
 Backing – 4 yards

Cutting Instructions:

LABEL EVERYTHING with the corresponding letter
From EACH fat eighth, cut the following:
 (2) A rectangles – 2 1/2” x 10 1/2”
 (5) B rectangles – 2 1/2” x 4 1/2”

From the White Fabric, cut the following:
 (10) 2 1/2” strips. Subcut into (160) C squares – 2 1/2” x 2 1/2”, mark diagonally ONCE
 (11) 1 1/2” strips. Subcut into (32) D rectangles – 1 1/2” x 10 1/2”
 (1) 20 1/2” strip. Subcut into (8) E rectangles – 4 1/2” x 20 1/2”
 (2) 4 1/2” strips. Subcut into (16) F squares – 4 1/2” x 4 1/2”
From Star Center Fat Quarter, cut the following:
 (9) G squares – 4 1/2” x 4 1/2”
From the Star Point Fabric, cut the following:
 (5) 2 1/2” strips. Subcut into (72) H squares – 2 1/2”x 2 1/2”, mark diagonally ONCE
From the Sashing Fabric, cut the following:
 (6) 4 1/2” strips. Subcut into (12) I rectangles – 4 1/2” x 20 1/2”
From the Binding Fabric, cut the following:
 (7) 2 1/2” strips
