Trio of Baskets by Bonnie Miles #15

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON CLASS:

Of all the old traditional blocks, the basket is one that appears over and over – in all kinds of variations. In this terrific class, you will learn that you can create an original basket block without an expensive commercial pattern – in several sizes. We will make up a sample of three of these, and then you can decide which you want to use – if any. One will be a quick and easy scrappy pieced block. Number two will be a funky basket in several sizes. Number three will be a hand appliqued version. One bonus will be a technique for making wonderful curved basket handles. Another will be applique tips, and for sure you ‘ll learn how to step out of your comfort zone in choosing fabrics and colors. Hope you’re planning to join us in this great class.
