This simple table mat is so fun to make! It is a great way to showcase fabric that you love, without the time commitment or cost of a full-size quilt.
The table mat finishes at a 21 inch octagon. We will easily finish the project during class, and if time permits, I will show you how to quilt the table mat on your sewing machine.
WARNING: These little things are addictive! Once you make one, you'll want to make several.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, class is limited to 14 seats, no exceptions.
Skill Level: Beginner

For Questions about this class, please contact the instructor: Diane Phipps, 928-640-1345, dphipps858@gmail.com
Fabric Requirements:
(1) fat quarter (for the mat center)
(8) 1-1/2 inch by WOF strips, or if using fat quarters, (16) 1-1/2 inch by 22-inch strips (the scrappier the better)
3/4 yd for backing
27 x 27 inch piece of batting
80 inches of binding, cut on the bias
Cutting Instructions:
(As above, if you cut the fat quarter prior to class, cut it 13-1/2"x 13-1/2", not 13"x 13" as the pattern indicates. 13-1/2"x 13-1/2" works better for the machine quilting)
Supplies Needed:
Walking foot if you have one for machine quilting
