We have found it is well worth the the money. This ruler is a multi-purpose tool for cutting strips, squares, rectangles, diamonds and triangles. Squaring up pieced blocks up to 12 1/2" is a breeze. This ruler is designed by Gudrun Eria. The table runner is made of (3) - 12" x 12" squares.

1/2 yd. Red - Blocks and sashing

1/2 yd. 4 different greens - half square triangles

1/2 yd. Warm & Natural or other batting
