Description - Make this simply adorable Hexie Sheep in the Meadow quilt, quickly pieced row by row using half-hexagons. Learn three different dimensional techniques (including “Hexagami”) to embellish and bring this sweet quilt to life, as featured on the cover of Quiltmaker magazine back in 2014.

Needed Items - Sky: Assorted Light Blue Prints and Tone-on-Tones, 1-3/8 yards total; (5-6 fat quarters approx. 18" x 20").

Grass/Leaves: Assorted Green prints and Tone-on-Tones, 1-7/8 yards; (6-7 fat quarters).

Sheep: 3/4 yard white

Sheep Face/Ears/Feet: 3/8 yard black

Sun and Flowers: 1 Fat Quarter yellow

Flowers and Butterfly: Assorted 1/8 yard cuts each: pink, red, orange, hot pink, purple, turquoise

Binding: 3/8 yard each solid blue and solid green

Flower Stems: 1-1/2 yards jumbo rick rack – 1-1/2” wide

Backing: 1-3/4 yards plush fur (Minky) or 3 yards cotton

Other Supplies: Sewing Machine in good working order. Basic sewing kit including a needle and thread for some minimal hand-stitching, Glue stick, pins, scissors, etc.

A flannel-back tablecloth or 50” x 65” piece of batting for portable design wall.

OPTIONAL: (Helpful tool): Hex-Half ruler/template with sides measuring around 4-1/2". Purchase from instructor in class, $11, or from any manufacturer. May use AccuQuilt's Half Hexagon die #55437
