Description - Fidget Spinner is a geometric design made up of 20-inch blocks so you can plan the size of your quilt depending on how many blocks you make. This is a great technique class because each section is made up of a traditional snowball block, a half square triangle, two stitch and flip corner blocks and various sizes of squares and rectangles. You will learn the most modern, precise ways to make and combine each of these blocks. Many different fabric choices make beautiful combinations.
Supplies/Fabric requirements -
Focus Fabric (swirls): 16 FQs for 80" square quilt, 4 FQs for 40"
Background: 5 yards for 80" quilt or 3/8 yard per block
Binding: 3/4 yard, Backing: 5-1/2 yard
Backing and binding will not be needed in class
Needed Items -
Basic sewing kit
1/4" presser foot
Neutral colored thread
Rotary Cutter with a sharp blade
Cutting mat 12" square or larger
5" to 8" sq. and approximately 3"x12" acrylic rulers
Small personal iron and ironing surface (optional)
