Description: So Cute! This duffel bag is just the right size for an overnight stay. It has two outer pockets, a zipper and long straps. It is quilted and the seams on the inside are bound. NO raw edges for things to catch on! We will be using 10 sisters 1" grid interfacing to get our piecing perfect. The pocket tops are bound and so are the edges for the zipper. you can be "sew" creative with your piecing. You can do strips, chevrons, accent rows, random, ect. You can also do one whole piece of fabric. Then you have fun with the quilting before you cut out the pieces.
Supplies/Fabric requirements:
5 1" easy piecing grid panels
12 Fat Eighths ( 9"x21") or 150 - 3 1/2" squares of scrap fabric
1 yard lining fabric
1 Fat quarter (18" x 21") - for bias binding
1 yard Soft and Stable by "ByAnnie" Or your favorite batting
1 30" double-slide Handbag zipper OR a 30" regular nylon zipper
3 1/4 yard 1 1/2" Handle strapping - For handles
Needed Items: Basic sewing kit, 24"x7" clear ruler, marking pencil/pen/chalk, walking foot, 1/4" foot, small iron and mat, glue stick (washaway)
